Senior Capstone Exhibition

Our senior class's exhibit, titled "& Then," tasked us with combining two ideas (similar or dissimilar) and building a display around that. In my exhibit, I explore feminine arts and crafts with the title,"Frills & Folly." I highlight the stigma of crafting in the art world and deconstruct the idea that fabric crafts are only "women's work."

I created a poster series about women's labor, a crochet brochure, a flipbook of patterns around the world, an instructional app, an interactive card game, my own handmade hat and shawl display, and my own constructed yarn shelf.
